I am a software engineer focused on backend systems and software architecture. Most of my day-to-day work is building and operating services at scale, and lately a growing share of it is spent understanding how AI agents fit into real engineering workflows. I am currently a Software Development Engineer at Amazon.
This blog is where I write up the parts of that work that seem worth keeping: architecture decisions and the reasoning behind them, backend and distributed systems patterns, AI-agent design, and the occasional security or algorithms note. I try to write from real problems rather than tutorials, so the posts lean toward trade-offs, failure modes, and “why”, not just step-by-step recipes.
